Join YLND for our Community Volunteer Day! On Saturday, April 14, we'll be partnering with Rebuilding Together to rehabilitate the home of a fellow resident in need in the Erskine Park area. We'll start at 8:00 a.m. and work until repairs are finished (around 3:00  - 4:00 p.m.). All skill levels are welcome, as we will clean, paint, and refresh the home of an elderly or disabled neighbor. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

About Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit, community-based partnership that rehabilitates homes of low-income homeowners and improves neighborhoods. On two April Saturdays each year, approximately 1,000 skilled and unskilled volunteers join together to make repairs to about 20 homes in a selected St. Joseph County neighborhood. All repairs are completed at no cost to the homeowner. Each home site usually needs 15 - 20 volunteers and our goal is to have enough volunteers to sponsor an entire home.
