About YLND

The what

Young Leaders of Notre Dame (YLND) is an employee resource group created to connect and support young professionals in their careers at Notre Dame through networking, social opportunities, professional development and community engagement.

YLND is made possible with support from the Office of Human Resources. Employee resource groups such as Young Leaders are coordinated through the University's diversity efforts.

The who

YLND is open to any employee at the University of Notre Dame. Events and opportunities are focused on meeting the needs of young professionals.

The why

YLND connects Notre Dame young professionals through networking, professional development, and community engagement activities to assist Human Resources with recruitment, retention and provision of educational initiatives ensuring the continued growth and strength of the University community.

Behind the Scenes are designed to help give the University’s young working professionals a taste of some of the exciting things going on around campus that you might not be able to experience on your own. 

Happy Hours

Happy Hours are a great time to connect with new colleagues and unwind mid-week.  You're welcome to bring a guest, or come on your own and make new friends.  

Learning from Leaders

Opportunities to connect with the senior leadership of the University in small, intimate groups. There is no formal agenda for these meetings other than to allow each leader to share their career journey and advice, as well as get to know all of you.

Signature Events

Events throughout the year that provide an opportunity for you to see new places on campus; learn from other professionals on the work they do for Notre Dame; network and most importantly, socialize and have fun.
